- On hand to offer advice will be nurses, midwives, Healthcare Support Workers, Theatre Support Workers, Maternity Care Assistants from all specialities along with representatives from a number of other Trust departments including Recruitment Services, Preceptorship, Apprenticeships, the Staff Bank (temporary work) and Staff Benefits.
Tours & Demonstrations
- There will be a number of departmental tours including our operating departments with a number of hands on demonstrations and workshops taking place. Find out from cardiology what an abnormal heart rate looks like, ‘gown and glove up’ with our operating theatres, see some of the bespoke equipment used to help patients in oncology, learn how our paediatric teams use ‘playing’ as a way to help our younger patients through their treatment and get your arm plastered with the emergency team! These are just a few of the activities that will be taking place on the day.
As Royal Papworth will be joining the biomedical campus in
the next few months, they will also be in attendance at this event.
