training places for international students to earn their Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering degree

Are you interested in a career as an aircraft engineer?

Brookfield Education and Training is proud to announce our partnership with Croatia Airlines and the University of Applied Sciences Velika Gorica in Zagreb, Croatia. We are now offering training places to international students to earn their Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering degree, whilst at the same time gaining the valuable practical experience required to obtain an EASA B1 Licence, allowing them to work in any European Airline or Maintenance Facility.

The course is conducted with one of Europe’s most renowned national airlines and maintenance organisations and it allows students to get theoretical and practical experience to become a licenced engineer. The requirements for most airlines and maintenance organisations in Europe and those maintaining EU registered aircrafts worldwide, is to have certifying personnel holding the EASA Part-66 aircraft maintenance licence (AML). At the end of the course, if they pass, students will have everything required so will be able to apply for their Part-66 AML for professional employment.

The course is predicted to take three and a half years and if successful, students will earn their degree and will be authorised to use the professional title Baccalaureus Engineer of Aircraft Maintenance and perform professional tasks in the scientific area and field of the respective study programme. Students will also be in a position to apply for their EASA Part-66 License, as the programme will include theoretical and practical basic knowledge training, one complete aircraft type training on an Airbus (A318/319/20/321), comprehensive on-the-job training (OJT) required for the first aircraft type rating endorsement and the practical experience required for them to apply for their Part-66 AML. The start date for the course is October 2016 and will coincide with the classes at the University of Applied Sciences Velika Gorica. The total basic tuition fee is €30,000 EUR for the entire course. This course is based in Zagreb, Croatia, a safe and beautiful city with very cheap living costs.
