WildBrain is a Digital Media Company based in London. We produce children’s content for YouTube, we
manage various channels including Teletubbies, In The Night Garden and Fireman Sam as well as creating
our own content in house. Our network currently has over 300 channels in total and is about to reach 10
billion total views. We are looking for a summer intern to join the team at our studio based just outside Cambridge in
Oakington. We make a variety of videos, from toy unboxing and toy play to challenge videos and games as well as
creating voice overs and scripts for animation.
The role will include:
● Making sure all the equipment is ready for shoots
● Backing up and delivering video content to our team of video editors
● Helping with script delivery and recording voice overs
● Ordering props
● Assisting on shoots
● Administrative duties
● Keeping the studio tidy and organised for the shoots
Experience we are looking for
● Keen interest in Digital Video on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter etc
● Experience with cameras and video; A working knowledge of ISO, aperture, shutter speed would be
beneficial.
● Understanding of lighting
● Experience working with children would be beneficial
● Work well under pressure
● Patient when working with children
● Strong communication skills
● High level of organisation
● Understanding of video formats and frame rates. For example knowing
what the difference
between 1080i and 1080p or 1080 60fps and 4K 30fps and how they will affect the image, again
would be beneficial
● Experience with stop motion animation would be highly beneficial
The internship would usually be working between Monday Friday 10am 6pm, however there would be occasions where you would be needed outside of these hours early mornings and occasional Saturdays may be needed. Flexibility is essential due to the varied filming schedule.
The internship would be paid at £40 per full day.
