Apprenticeships opportunities




Cambridge City Council has posted six new  apprenticeships on Step Up http://www.timetostepup.co.uk/opportunities/ These include Building Control Surveyor, Surveyor, Estates and Facilities, Fraud Prevention, Electrician, Customer Services and Business Admin. Most, but not all, require five GCSEs including English and Maths. The City Council will be attending Opportunities Ahead and would be happy to meet prospective candidates attending the fair.

Stansted Airport
An excellent chance for students age 16+ to take part in a Traineeship programme at Stansted Airport this summer for 8 weeks.  The programme will be made up of:
·         Level 1 certificates in Principals of Customer Service
·         Level 1 Award in Workskills
·         Work experience placement/s
               BKSB English / Maths

They will work with candidates during the course to secure them a job at the end of the course (although they cannot guarantee a position.)

Students will get a travelcard, and delivery will be from 11:00 – 16:30 each day of the training (work experience times may be different.)
