Careers Progression Event at Long Road Sixth Form College, 17/3/16

There are just over 2 weeks to go until this
year's Careers Progression Event in the Student Centre!
Aimed at Year 2 students, it will be bigger than ever this year, with up to 33 exhibitors!  We literally can't fit anyone else into the building :-(

Exhibitors will be there representing Charities, Gap Year, local and international business, Alternatives to Degrees in HE, Police, HM Prisons, Construction, Performing Arts, ICT, Accountancy, Insurance Industry, Law, NHS, Care-based roles in the community, the list goes on!  Of course, it is during National Apprenticeship Week too, so there will be plenty of Apprenticeship providers for you to talk to.

The Event will run from 10.30 - 2.30 so simply turn up, come on in and talk to our guests.  For those of you who would like to make a particularly positive impression, the Progress Coaches are also running workshops to prepare for National Apprenticeship Week, and the Event, from 7th March onwards.  Emails have been sent to anyone who has not applied to University, but any Year 2 students can attend - simply contact your Progress Coach to ask where and when the workshops are running.

Finally, don't forget to get hold of a feedback sheet for the day.  3 simple questions asking about you experience in the event and you will be entered into a free prize draw to win an iPad Air.  What's to lose?

We look forward to seeing you there.  The Careers Team
