Everyone in the Outreach Team here at Brighton are particularly concerned at reports that suggest downgrading is impacting more on students from backgrounds already under-represented in higher education. This is an issue which is close to all our hearts.
There has been a lot of change for all of us to deal with in 2020. However, the flexible, inclusive and personalised way we make offers at Brighton remains the same. We value a range of qualifications and non-academic achievements and we consider every application individually. We are here for you and your students and will do all we can to support them in progressing in Higher Education this autumn. We know some students will not have got the results they hoped for, or feel they deserve or reflect their potential, but this does not mean that this is the end to their journey.
Our dedicated team are available talk to via our clearing hotline 01273 644000 until 6pm tonight. Our opening hours from tomorrow onwards can be found here.
