·
Chris Wood, International glass artist and maker who lives in Ely. Her
medium is light. She uses a range of high and low-tech optical materials to
harness patterns of light that suggest ephemeral glimpsed moments in the
natural world. Her commissions include works for Fendi Fashion House,
Great Ormond Street Hospital, a Scandinavian cruise ship and many more. Wood
has recently completed her biggest commission to date for the National
Convention and Exhibition Centre in Taipei.
·
Adam Clarke – aka ‘Wizard Keen’ International Minecraft expert. Adam says it’s nice to be a wizard!
For a lot of people, I am Wizard Keen. Often, with the people I know in
Minecraft, we call each other by our avatar names not their real names. We like
to stay in character. I know a Stampy, Squishy, Dragnoz, Squid and Squidoodley.
Minecraft is an amazing game that stimulates your creativity as you build
whatever you can imagine, but it’s also great for learning about how to be a
good citizen and mining positive connections
·
Miranda Stearn, Head of Learning UCM She
leads the Learning Department at the Fitzwilliam Museum, supporting a team
dedicated to delivering a creative, inclusive and impactful learning service
and enabling more people to be engaged and excited throughout their lives by the
Fitzwilliam and other University of Cambridge Museum collections. She is
passionate about heritage and culture and how we can get more involved.
·
Jon Cockley - co-founder
of Handsome Frank illustration agency. Handsome Frank is a UK based
illustration agency representing some of the finest contemporary artists on the
planet. Founded in 2010 by cousins Jon & Tom, like all the best ideas it
started with a conversation in the pub. They now represent 30 illustrators,
spread across five continents and have worked with some of the biggest brands
and agencies in the world.
