Civil Engineering Taster Day

We would like to
invite you to our Civil Engineering Taster Day at
the University of Hertfordshire, College Lane Campus, Hatfield AL10 9AB.
Hatfield is 25-minutes from Kings Cross Station, London.
This free event
will be an opportunity to find out what it would be like to study Civil
Engineering at university and would look great on your personal statement too!
The day will run
from 09:30 to 15:00. We will cover 3 topics - hydrostatic forces, slope
stability, dams and seepage. During the day you will experience:
- small taster lectures
- a simple calculation session in a tutorial setting
- ending with a practical demonstration to compare against your calculations/predictions.
Lunch is included.
