Monkfield Park Care & Learning Centre in Cambourne is based on the site of Monkfield Park Primary School, operating under arrangements for extended schools. The provision offers a range of services to families in the community, providing pre-school from 2 years to 5 years, together with breakfast, after school and holiday clubs for 2 years to 11 years.  The Centre had a successful Ofsted Inspection in February 2014, where it was rated in all categories as good. 

Due to an increase in children attending the Centre, the following temporary post is required as soon as possible, working 37 hours per week, 52 weeks, on a rota shift basis between 7.45 am to 6.15 pm, Monday to Friday:-
 

Care & Learning Centre Assistant (£13,871 to £14,338 per annum, plus corresponding annual leave entitlement and bank holidays) – contract ends 31^st August 2016 

To be considered for shortlisting, you will have GCSE A-C or equivalent in Maths and English. On a daily basis you will be working with children aged 2 to 11, with differing needs.  A “can do” attitude towards all tasks is essential in this role.  This is an ideal post for gap year students wishing to gain experience in working with children.
