Vacancy for Engineering Construction Apprenticeships

VACANCY: Engineering Construction Apprenticeships Age: 16+
Job Description:
This International company who have designed and manufactured steam-generating technology
since 1895 are looking to recruit well-motivated individuals onto their Engineering Construction
Apprenticeship programme. Gaining an NVQ level 2 in Engineering Construction in the 1st year, candidates then specialise in a particular discipline of the industry, including Welding, Steel Erecting, Mechanical Fitting, Pipefitting and Project Control. August 2009 start.

You will need:
Applicants should be prepared to live away from home, have a mature outlook and be well
motivated. GCSE passes at Grade C or above (or equivalent) in English, Maths and IT would be
preferred. (Closing date: 30.04.2009).


Training Offered:
Training is delivered at the company Training Centre in the West Midlands. Block release to
complete a Technical Certificate in Engineering Construction at Leeds & Hull College. Time will also be spent on sites.

Additional Information:
Pay in 1st year £85 p w plus board & lodging off site.
