We would like to express huge thanks to the staff of the Nationwide Building Society, Cambridge, who visited Long Road Sixth Form College today. Arranged by Adam Hubbard, Senior Branch Manager, we were delighted to listen to insightful commentary by staff from a variety of roles, including former Long Road student, Isabelle Peyton (now Customer Services Manager),
Area Mortgage Manager Daniel Crouch, and Han Zhu (Quality Coach) who gave students some interesting insights into the differences between education and career development in China vs the UK. Students and staff expressed how impressed they were with the quality and content of the talks, and some even stated how it has prompted them to reassess their whole outlook towards jobs in this sector. Positive experiences all around.
