Electric Vehicles

There is a huge £600 million investment supporting learners and manufacturers of ULEVs (Ultra-Low Emission Vehicles).  But with only 1% of the motor workforce qualified to work on these vehicles, we have a major shortfall of technicians.

Free resources and competitions to support careers advisors

Having a good knowledge of all the different industries and job roles is almost impossible, and to help make your life easier we’ve put together a variety of resources that you can use for free to introduce the motor industry.
Lesson Plans – download teaching resources for KS3 and KS4 covering Business Studies, ICT, Literacy and Maths.
Competitions– Fun and engaging competitions run throughout the year that encourage ‘theory into practice’ and team working in Literacy and Business and Enterprise.

Work Experience – free toolkit to support students, teachers and organisers to create a successful work experience activity.

Employability Guidance – toolkit to help prepare students and young people in gaining successful employment.
