- Visiting Speakers from Universities, answering questions about higher education and looking at how to write great Personal Statements
- Student Finance Talk - addressing financial queries for Higher Education (HE)
- National Citizenship Service - how to gain good experience in your free time

- Careers Week - looking at the subjects you study and future progression routes that can develop
- Annual Careers Event - exhibitors from a broad range of companies, professional bodies and Apprenticeship training providers come to college to discuss occupations you can pursue when you leave college, and the strategies to achieve your goals

- University HE Event at Anglia Ruskin University - All Year 1 students have the opportunity to visit ARU and talk to representatives from universities across the country, to help decide what they might like to study in HE
- University Tour Bus - a double decker bus come to college to promote university opportunities and to answer any questions students may have regarding HE
