Apprentice Engineer Opportunity with IOT & Approval Solutions Ltd


Apprentice Engineer

The Apprenticeship Scheme was created to help High School Graduates gain industrial experience whilst continuing their education in a vocational situation.  We offer on the job training, in which you will be given projects to complete.  You will also undertake additional vocational study which will involve on the job assessment and additional theoretical study, this may involve college attendance.

We currently have a requirement for an Apprentice Engineer.  You will be working alongside other members of the Engineering team. You will enjoy a fast paced environment and the ability to work to tight deadlines under high pressure is required.

The Role:
An exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to work within our small but talented Engineering team. Carryout User Acceptance/Field Testing against customer and carrier defined test specifications on a variety of different products; such as handsets, data cards integrated modules and development boards in both dynamic and stationary test environments in various IOTAS locations. Accurately record results obtained during the test cycle and produce test status reports and secure product logs when non-compliances are found. Support general office duties

This role will involve overseas travel.

The Person:
Minimum C Grade or above in GCSE English, Maths and Science or IT. You will passionate about technology with an enquiring mind. Excellent planning and organisation skills are essential. A willingness to find out and make things happen.

The Benefits:
You will get to work with other extremely talented people and get the opportunity to play a part in IOTSS’s a continuing success. 20 days holidays. The initial annual salary will be a percentage of the final salary.  The annual salary will increase incrementally based on agreed anniversaries and achievements up to the successful completion of the apprenticeship.  Final salary £20,000pa.

You’ll have a proven interest in Business Administration, whether that’s strategy, HR, Marketing or Finance. Excellent planning and organisation skills are essential. A willingness to find out and make things happen.

The Benefits:
You will get to work with other extremely talented people and get the opportunity to play a part in IOTAS’s continuing success.  20 days holidays.  The initial annual salary will increase incrementally based on agreed anniversaries and achievements up to the successful completion of the apprenticeship.  Final salary £16,500 pa.

UKCAT test Locations


The test is offered at a choice of over 150 UK high street test centres and over 400 testing centres worldwide. The closing date for registering to take this test is 20 September 2013. However, due to high demand, students should register to take this test immediately to ensure they get a test slot at their chosen test centre.
