With all the news about increasing student tuition fees and the lack of student places at universities in the UK The Student World have recently launched the Student World fairs – the UK’s only study abroad events.
After carrying out market research The Student World found that students in the UK weren’t aware of the huge number of opportunities available for studying abroad. Many students didn't realise that degrees are taught in English and can often be more cost effective than studying in the UK.
The Student World Fairs have been designed to answer all the questions a potential student/parent/career adviser may have regarding studying in another country. On the day of the event you can meet with over 50 universities from around the world, ask them questions about courses, fees, accommodation and living in another country.
The Student World will also be running a series of interactive seminars covering everything from making country specific applications, to funding and employability. Any student who meets with over 5 universities at the event will be entered into a prize draw to win either a £3,000 bursary or an iPad*
