TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES with Marshalls Aerospace

Marshall Aerospace employs approximately 1500 people at its office and hangar complex at Cambridge Airport, where maintenance, modification and design facilities are available for many different types of military and civil aircraft.

The Government funded Advanced Apprenticeship places we offer each year have provided exciting opportunities, and a variety of careers, for many people who have become design engineers or airframe, electrical/avionics or mechanical manufacturing fitters. Successful graduates of our Foundation Degree, which operates in partnership with Kingston University, will be well placed in the future to find a role within the aerospace industry.

ADVANCED APPRENTICESHIP
Details of our Advanced Apprenticeship scheme can be found on www.marshallaerospace.com/assets/docs/apprentice.pdf Potential applicants for the employed-status places starting in September 2012 should send an email and a CV to pam.lord@marshallaerospace.com between 1 November 2011 and 31 January 2012. Details of how to apply would then be sent to applicants who would need to provide appropriate documentation demonstrating their right to work permanently in the UK.

FOUNDATION DEGREE IN AIRCRAFT, MAINTENANCE, REPAIR & OVERHAUL
Details of this 2 or 3 year course, delivered at Cambridge Airport, can be found at www.aeroacademy.co.uk. Successful graduates of the foundation degree may go on to ‘top-up’ to a full B.Sc at Kingston University. Applications should be made through www.ucas.co.uk.
