Open Day at Cambridge University Department of Engineering Thursday 2nd and Friday 3rd July 2009

The University of Cambridge Department of Engineering opens it's doors for two afternoons again this year. Both days will be the same in content, with exhibits and demonstrations, sample lectures, talks on undergraduate options, and guided tours of some of the Department's research laboratories, workshops and other facilities. Staff and students will be on hand to answer questions and to provide information and advice.

The main activities run from 2pm - 5pm. However, there will be a lecture about Engineering Admissions at Cambridge commencing at 1:15pm each afternoon for those that have been unable to attend a college Open Day. All are welcome to attend. There are no restrictions on numbers, parties are welcome and there is no need to book. Please note that these two days are the only days on which it is possible to look around the Department. Programmes will be issued upon arrival, but a preview (which will be updated as July approaches) is available on our Open Days website: click here
If you cannot make it in July or you want to get an even better feel for what to expect if you can, then visit their Virtual Open Day: Click here To find out more about the Department's courses see the 'Undergraduate Courses and Admissions' section of their website: www.eng.cam.ac.uk/admissions/index.html
