This is one of the most comprehensive specialist project management apprenticeships in any industry. Through formal training, you’ll learn all the basics of project management and its established methodologies. Part-time Administration vacancy with Cambridge Bootcamps


Cambridge Bootcamps seeks part-time administrative assistant/personal assistant

After a successful start to 2015, we're now looking for an administrative assistant/ personal assistant to help take our hugely popular female only bootcamp to the next level.

We provide the women of Cambridge with first-rate health and fitness advice – but we need continued support with everything that happens behind the scenes.

Your tasks will include:

• Answering new client enquiries and doing email and phone consultations
• Helping to maintain the CambridgeBootcamps social media pages
• Updating the timetable of events and liaising between trainers
• Keeping track of memberships and general administrative tasks
• Organising one-off activities and workshops as and when appropriate

You should be:

• Polite, helpful and punctual
• Well-organised, with good communication skills
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Flexible and enthusiastic
• An interest in health, fitness and Nutrition would be advantageous.
* Knowledge of 'Infusion Soft' and 'Team Up' would also be desirable although training will be given.
* Excellent written / administrative skills
* Able to have an awareness of female related health issues.
* Representing the Cambridge Bootcamps brand
* Confidential and discreet.


The position will be part-time and could be carried out from home, around your existing commitments - we see this suiting a parent with school-age children or a freelance professional assistant with multiple clients. The position will be paid hourly at £8 per hour.

Please note this is a fairly new position at Cambridge Bootcamps, so the role is likely to evolve quickly depending on your capabilities with more hours potentially available to the right person. We will start with 8-10 hours per week initially.

Hi Tech Apprenticeship Event in Cambridge, today!

Just a quick reminder about this afternoon/evening's Hi Tech Apprenticeship Event for those with an interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths).  Aveva, Bango, e-go aeroplanes, Blacktrace Holdings, Spectral Edge, Stansted Airport, Takeda Cambridge, the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute and Carl Zeiss are just some of the 20 companies attending. Furthermore, there are 60 apprenticeships on offer but the companies are equally happy to talk to students who are still trying to decide about their next steps, perhaps giving help in their CV clinics?

Guest Speaker from NACUE in the LRC today


Please make your way to the LRC for 12.30 today if you would like to hear Holly Knower of NACUE speaking.  She is a representative of the National Association of College and University Entrepreneurs and will be delivering a talk about a new Enterprise Society we are setting up in the college.   

 

The Society will help students to learn about:

 

  • setting up a business whilst at college
  • links to guest speakers
  • how to find a mentor to help in business ventures
  • event management, arranging activities for other society members in the college
  • bidding for government funding to assist the running of the society and small business ventures
