Accountancy Apprenticeships with Mazars

Mazars LLP
Apprenticeships at Mazars
When it comes down to it, it’s all about you and your career. From the moment you join Mazars you’ll be welcomed, supported and treated as an individual. Your personal and professional aspirations matter and we’ll offer you the opportunities to achieve them. It’s up to you to make it happen and make your years at Mazars, years that count.

What's a Mazars Apprenticeship like?
As it’s National Apprenticeship Week, we thought we’d share an interview with a real-life apprentice from accountancy firm Mazars. Find out what Ellen, an Audit Apprentice at Mazars, had to say about her apprenticeship:
What does a typical working day look like for you as a Mazars’ Apprentice?
I work on a variety of our audit clients helping to audit their financial statements. This includes working both in the office and at the client’s premises. In addition, we have a range of different clients which means you get exposed to lots of different industries and types of testing which helps to keep the work interesting.
What do you enjoy the most about your apprenticeship?
I like having the responsibility that comes with work. As you are working you get to learn things on the job meaning they stick with you a lot more than if you are just learning the theory of it in the classroom. Also, you get to deal with lots of different clients and industries which put you in a good position in the future when you want to progress into different areas of work.
