Personal Tax Trainee
Is

We require creative, innovative thinkers, who can support our account
managers and their clients.
Websters
recruits all trainees with a view to them completing a recognised qualification
and developing their career within our business – we invest in training for the
long term.
Duties and Responsibilities:
·
Supporting the Account Managers in the preparation / data entry of
tax returns for personal, partnership and trust clients.
·
Supporting the Account Manager in dealing with client queries and
HM Revenue and Customs.
·
Dealing with PAYE coding notices, and other HMRC Correspondence.
·
Responsible for preparing and sending out personal tax return
information requests and other ad-hoc admin tasks such as follow up requests
for information and scanning.
·
Administrative and technical tasks for the Personal Tax team as
directed.
Skills Required:
·
The ability to deliver exceptional client service.
·
The ability to work effectively as part of a team with good
interpersonal skills.
·
Proactive, enthusiastic and hard working.
·
Accurate data entry skills.
·
Numerate and detail conscious.

There are two roles available at our Cambridge Office located at:

ATT Apprentice (Tax)
Start date: As soon as possible
The opportunity
Are you interested in Tax?
If yes, then we can provide you with the opportunity to
train towards your Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT) qualification, a
recognised professional tax qualification, whilst gaining valuable on-the-job
experience.
What we’re looking for
The ideal candidate should have or expect to gain at least
280 UCAS points (or equivalent) and have GCSE grades A to C, including at least
grade B or above in Maths and English Language (or equivalent).
This role will involve a considerable amount of client
contact so suitable candidates will need good communication, organisation and
IT skills.
As our Cambridge office in Royston is not accessible by
public transport, the successful applicant must hold a full driving licence and
have the use of a car.
