As part of our response to this rapidly changing world, we’ve developed further online resources for you to access from home. We’re really excited to launch our new Virtual Classroom - a programme open to all students between Years 10 and 13 (Years 11 to 14 in Northern Ireland and S3 to S6 in Scotland). The programme combines both live and pre-recorded sessions which will provide you with an insight into PwC and an opportunity to develop your employability skills. You’ll also have the chance to engage with a range of PwC ambassadors through the interactive live sessions, whilst enabling the flexibility to watch and listen to the recorded sessions at a time best suited to you each week. We recognise that you’ll continue to have school or college commitments during the four-week period so we’ve made the virtual programme as flexible as possible.  Take a look at our website for the times and dates for each of the live sessions and how you can sign up. Females of the Future programme with PWC!

International Women’s Day is coming up on Sunday 8 March, and PwC will be embracing and celebrating this year’s theme of ‘An equal world is an enabled world’. They wanted to take this opportunity to share with you some of the great opportunities they have that support equality within careers in business and technology. Their Females of the Future programme is designed to inspire and support students navigating potential career opportunities with PwC. These day-long events are held at a PwC office and include a series of fun and engaging activities to help students understand their skills, focus on their core values and how these could relate to their career choice, all whilst learning more about what it is like working at PwC, from the people who actually work there. Students can sign up here. Find out more     #TechSheCan – Ahead of International Women’s Day, The Tech She Can Charter will celebrate its two year anniversary on 2 March. PwC’s research tells them that teachers, parents and careers advisors suggest tech careers to only 16% of females (compared to 33% males). The Tech She Can Charter is a commitment by organisations like PwC to work together to increase the number of women working in technology roles. PwC are celebrating National Apprenticeship Week 2020 and wanted to take this opportunity to highlight some of the great opportunities they have for you to share with school and college leavers considering their next steps.
