AIM- Greenligh for Girls

AIM have been working with Greenlight for girls since 2015 to demonstrate the link between STEM to everything around us and to inspire the future generation of female STEM leaders. To keep young women aged 11-18yrs engaged in STEM g4g have designed a broadcast series Science you had me at hello!

LGC Apprenticeship Open Evening

Apprentice Open Evening Thursday 27th April 2017

Come along to our Apprentice Open Evening LGC welcomes you to our Apprentice Open Evening, taking place on Thursday 27th April 2017 at our site in Fordham, Cambridgeshire. Each session will take between an hour and an hour and a half and will include a presentation about the company, the apprenticeship and a tour of our facilities. You will also have the opportunity to speak to current apprentices and our educational provider. Find out all about the FREE Discovery Residential Programme

If you are a STEM or Business Studies Year 2 student and interested in finding out about what it is like to be at University, then you should meet with Rebecca Avery of CPCO in the Student Centre, 12.00 - 2.00, on Friday 7th October.  She will be showing films about the Discovery Programme and will be available to answer any questions from interested students during these times.


This unique residential programme will be free of charge and will give you insight into what it is like to be at university, as well as meet specialists in their field.

Hi Tech Apprenticeship Event in Cambridge, today!

Just a quick reminder about this afternoon/evening's Hi Tech Apprenticeship Event for those with an interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths).  Aveva, Bango, e-go aeroplanes, Blacktrace Holdings, Spectral Edge, Stansted Airport, Takeda Cambridge, the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute and Carl Zeiss are just some of the 20 companies attending. Furthermore, there are 60 apprenticeships on offer but the companies are equally happy to talk to students who are still trying to decide about their next steps, perhaps giving help in their CV clinics?

YINI provide paid placements for students post A levels for 9-12 months and guarantees they are set on a fast track to their future career.
