Championing social mobility: Degree-level apprenticeships

Live Webinar
21 May 2020, 10-11am
The Sutton Trust will be hosting a webinar for teachers on why we see degree-level apprenticeships as an opportunity for social mobility, our most recent apprenticeship research and our first ever apprenticeship summer school.
This interactive session will cover:
  • The basics of what an apprenticeship is, the benefits of a degree-level apprenticeship and where to find further resources.
  • Our most recent findings on the impact that COVID-19 is having on apprenticeships, who is currently accessing degree-level apprenticeships and the barriers that young, disadvantaged people may be face when accessing high level, high quality apprenticeships.
  • An introduction to our first ever Apprenticeships Summer School, which is being delivered digitally this year for Year 12 students. Applications are now open and you can find out more by visiting our website or reading our teachers' guide.
This hour-long webinar will include time for questions.
We would love for you to join us for this session. Please click here to RSVP by 20 May.
