Career Ready Bulletin

May Coordinator Bulletin

Career Ready Skills Festival
✔️ 320 young people supported
✔️ 188 volunteers engaged
✔️ 123 events arranged
This week is the second of the Career Ready Skills Festival and we're really pleased with the response from students and volunteers so far. Please encourage your students to sign up to sessions via Eventbrite and look out for our weekly bulletins.
Well done to the East Midlands and North West regions, who, as well as London and the South East, had the best student sign up numbers last week!

Year one students and mentors

Meeting five, understanding career pathways - students should reflect on their career experiences and skills development to date with a view of what future steps they may want to take and how their mentor can help them best prepare for that change. If your students are unsure of what they want to do, attending one of our Skills Festival 'Industry Insights' could be particularly helpful.

An update on our new digital platform

Testing is underway on our new digital platform for you, your students and your volunteers. We will be inviting some school coordinators to take part in the testing towards the end of this month and will roll out access to our new online tools after half term. The launch is a little later than planned as our staff and the team helping us build these new tools aren’t, understandably, able to work at full capacity at the moment. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please contact us centrally by emailing info@careerready.org.uk and a member of the team will be in touch.

2017-19 Student Destination Survey

We are currently collecting submissions for the 2017-19 student destination survey. In order to assess the success of our programme and to demonstrate its impact, we need to collect this essential data from students. Unfortunately, at the moment, we do not have the completed surveys to give us enough reliable data. We would be very grateful if you could contact students that you know were on the programme from 2017-2019 and ask that they complete this short survey: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/Z6LMG2T
