Do you want to train as a maths teacher?

Taster Day for any students who are interested in becoming
Secondary Maths teachers.

The day will take place from 9am – 3:30pm on Wednesday 18 November. During the day, there will be workshops held at the University’s Bedford campus, as well as visits to local schools.

The Taster Day is for our new Undergraduate Secondary Education with Mathematics course. This is a three year course which enables students to achieve Qualified Teacher Status whilst also developing their mathematics knowledge. This could be preferable to the more traditional route of a three-year course, followed by a one-year PGCE. There are also generous bursaries offered to students following a mathematics teaching programme.

To register for the event, students can use this link:  https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/teaching-secondary-maths-taster-day-tickets-18555993476 or email educationservices@beds.ac.uk to express their interest.
