The possibilities are
endless....
Why BT
BT is the world's most

which offers a world of possibilities for all globally. We help people to
communicate anywhere, at any time and with any technology they want.
We are amongst the
UK's most experienced apprentice employers - BT has had an apprentice programme
in place for over 50 years and we currently deliver 12 different apprenticeship
frameworks.
Our Engineering Apprenticeship
BT is a world leader in the telecommunications industry, and as you would expect with a company the size of BT we have a wide range of options available which will give you all the training and experience you need to thrive.

Do you have a passion
for making things work?
Our engineering apprenticeship involves installing, repairing
and maintaining BT's phone, broadband and TV network. You will be entering
businesses and residential customers' homes and great interpersonal skills are
needed, as is the ability to be flexible and solve problems as they occur.
These roles will suit anyone who likes to work independently and enjoys the
outdoors (in all types of weather).
Other engineering roles include working in power where you will be responssible for overcoming power failures in the network, and radio and rigging where you need to have a good head for heights as some of this activity is carried out in various radio towers and other tall buildings. These roles cover a larger geographical area which means a 'can do' attitude is necessary to help make sure the whole time succeeds.
During your apprenticeship you will attend college and study towards a NVQ Level 3 qualification to qualify as a telecomes engineer.
During 2015 we will be recruiting over 800 apprentices into a wide variety of roles- why not join us and help to shape the future of BT!

Careers News: BT Applications now open!
The 2009 BT Apprenticeship Scheme is now open until 19th January! Read the following message for tips on how to apply successfully (and make sure to read it all before you proceed).
Click on www.bt.com/apprentice to apply.
BT expect a huge number of people to apply in the first week so warn applicants that they might experience difficulties getting onto the system at first. If this happens try again the following day.
Top Tips
First off, watch the film in this Cmail and also in the video lounge of bt4me. These will give applicants a better understanding of which apprenticeship suits them so they know which one to apply for. When they apply, applicants will need to check that they fill in all the fields correctly. If they fail to do this their application will not be taken further. Applicants will also need to make sure they answer all four questions on the application form with full answers and check their spellings because the answers they give here are what BT will base their second stage sift on.
Start to get documents ready: anyone lucky enough to be invited to one of the BT Hub Days in March and April will need to bring their passport and exam certificates with them. If they do not have these, make sure they know to apply for them now so they are ready for the Hubs. If they follow all of these tips they''ll be ready to apply here!
