Long Road Sixth Form College Opens its doors!

We are delighted to welcome a broad range of exhibitors to our college today for our
Annual Careers Progression Event.   In the Student Centre between 10.30 and 1.30, we have employers, professional bodies, Apprenticeships, FE colleges and HE Providers, and our hope is that all students should be able to find someone relevant to talk to, even if it is to simply confirm their ideas about how they want to progress when they leave the college.

Do come along and speak to our exhibitors.  No question is too trivial, and many of their answers may shape the rest of your future.

Thank you to visitors at Long Road Sixth Form College

Long Road Sixth Form College would formally like to thank the broad range of organisations who took part in Wednesday's Annual Careers and Progression Event.  Feedback from all concerned was very positive and some students even left having sorted out the next steps in their pursuit of an Apprenticeship.

Apprenticeship Event in the Student Centre

We are very excited to see the range of organisations coming to the STUDENT CENTRE, today between 10.30 and 1.30, to talk about APPRENTICESHIPS.

ALL STUDENTS ARE WELCOME, even if you think you will be going to university eventually.

This is a great way to gain a better understanding of the Apprenticeship option, helping you to make a balanced decision about the future (even if it is to confirm that this is not the route for you!)

Volunteers required for Social Enterprise Event on 20/7

Doing Social are a social enterprise holding a conference at the Judge Business School on the 20th July. They are looking for volunteers to help with the delivery of the event. I am told the event is a complete sell out with an audience of innovators / change-makers, thinkers, practitioners and technologists from all over the country. It’s a great opportunity for those interested in social change & events and provides a platform to network and get inspired.
