📌 Getting started on LinkedIn – Session one
Charles Hardy is the Education Client
Partner at LinkedIn and has delivered hundreds of sessions to
universities, colleges and schools on how to use LinkedIn and how students can
get started on the platform. Over the next few weeks Charles will be delivering
three sessions around how to get the most out of LinkedIn
and they are not to be missed!
Session one - Wednesday 3rd June at 2-2.30pm
For many jobs
young people are told you need work experience of some kind; but Coronavirus
has cancelled apprenticeships and internships in a whole range of industries.
As some companies adapt to remote working and continue to take young people on,
what can you do to start your career journey on the path you want? How can you
build skills from home, as the UK creeps out of lockdown?

Head over the
the EDUCATION HUB, a free careers advice
resource hub brought to you by the Old Vic Theatre.
Youth
Employment Group Survey
This short
survey aims to better understand how young people aged 16-24 make decisions
about what jobs or training to do. It includes questions about what support you
have received on this during lockdown, your well being and how technology can
help you get the right information and advice.
The deadline is 31 May.
